What is the difference between the payment options (offline vs. online, e-check vs. credit/debit card, physical check/money order/cash)?

Payments through CISV Central come in two basic options:

By using "Paymentsgateway.com Secured Web Pay" you are directed to a secure checkout page.  You can THEN choose to pay two additional ways, both of these being processed online:
  1. E-Check (electronic funds transfer via ACH)
  2. Credit Card or Debit Card (any VISA, Mastercard, or Discover Card)
It is extremely important that all CISVers understand that option #2 (credit/debit cards) come with much larger fees for the chapter.  It is encouraged that everyone pay via E-Check when at all possible, to keep fees low for CISV USA and all of our chapters!

The "Check or Money Order" option is available for those who want to pay offline (not over the internet).  This option will require administrators to receive payment in person or in the mail, and then the administrator can mark the user as paid to grant them access to whatever it is they are paying for (an event, or joining a chapter, etc...).
